Securing the job he’s long coveted, first-year Fresno State men’s basketball coach Vance Walberg is implementing his nationally-known dribble drive motion offense and offering fans an exciting, uptempo brand of basketball in an effort to make Save Mart Center the place to be for students, fans and the community on game nights.
His effort to turn around the program coming off a couple tough years begins with a challenging non-conference slate and 12 newcomers on his 14-man roster.
Fresno State Magazine sat down with Walberg for an exclusive interview about his goals and vision for the program. Here is a teaser of the 30-minute mini-documentary on the team, airing at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 22 on ABC30, with an encore at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 29.
